Short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and tracks nobody. We only ever see the details you choose to send us.

1. Who we are

2. No cookies, no tracking
This site does not use cookies, local trackers, advertising pixels, fingerprinting or third-party analytics. We do not build profiles of visitors and there is no consent banner to click through, because there is nothing to consent to.
The only thing we store in your browser is a small technical preference — your chosen colour theme (light or dark) and whether you have dismissed our no-cookie notice. This is kept in your browser's local storage, never leaves your device, and is not a cookie or an identifier.
3. Data we process
We only process personal data when you actively get in touch:
- Email. If you email us, we receive your address, your message and anything you include in it. We use it solely to reply and to manage our working relationship.
- Booking a call. Our “Book a call” buttons open Google Calendar's appointment scheduling. Any name, email or notes you enter there are processed by Google to arrange the meeting.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Hosting and third parties
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like any web server, GitHub's infrastructure may automatically log technical request data such as your IP address for security and delivery. Fonts are self-hosted, so no external font service receives your visit.
When you choose to book a call, Google acts as an independent processor for that scheduling. We recommend reviewing the GitHub and Google privacy statements for how they handle data.
5. Legal basis and retention
We process contact data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR). We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet any legal obligations, then delete it.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, just email info@guidingwave.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above.
